Tad DuPriest was born on May 9th, 1973, in Ashland, VA, to Barclay and Rob DuPriest. He was a loving son, brother and friend who was known for his athletic accomplishments as well as his good-natured sense of humor.

On July 20, 1992, Tad was involved in a fatal car accident that occurred while working as a camp counselor for a local school. At only 19, his death had a profound impact on the lives of all who knew and loved him.

The Tad DuPriest Foundation was created in 2006, by a group of close friends, to honor Tad’s memory and commemorate his achievements. For over 14 years, our organization has worked with ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation to celebrate Tad’s life and legacy by raising money for local families in need.

 

Today, the ASK Tad’s Kids Family Crisis Fund, supports families, experiencing severe financial hardship while battling childhood cancer. From covering the cost of a mortgage to helping with utility bills, our organization ensures that families remain financially afloat during this difficult time.

Although Tad is gone, he will never be forgotten! We are truly grateful for the love and support that so many have shown for our organization and hope that you will join us in celebrating Tad’s life by supporting local families in need.
